Election
There is an upcoming federal election. While healthcare is primarily a provincial matter, there has been discussion of a federal pharmacare program, lack of a strategy for senior care, home care and mental health care in this election. Ask your candidates what they will do about these important issues and vote, vote, vote!My opinion is that pharmacare could be a big benefit for those with mental illnesses. People who are not on ODSP or other income support do not necessarily have access to the medications which keep them well.
